Our Story

Opened in January 2023, we are a bricks and mortar record store in Llanelli, South Wales.

We sell brand new and used vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, and more.

We pride ourselves with the quality of our pre-used records.

🚨 New Music Friday 🚨

The weekend has crept up on us again like my 50's did with me. One minute I'm in my prime and the next I've got white hair and make a groaning noise every time I get up from a chair. But enough about that. We've got some new music for you.

We've got the new album from Gorillaz, Bruno Mars, Pink Pantheress, Wiz Khalifa and Vona Vella.

Then there are some reissues from Rush, Avenged Sevenfold, Panic At The Disco, Sir Paul McCartney, The 1975, Crows, and Scorpions.

There's also a restock of the lovely Fish People reissues of some classic Kate Bush titles 👌

We've flogged a few of the Gorillaz albums already this morning so if you're after one this weekend get in there quick 🏃

Please welcome Jack Hilde to the second 45 team. Jack joins us on work placement from LRC Training.

Here's some words from the young man himself...

"I'm looking forward to my journey here at the second 45. I'm ready to gain more knowledge and learn as I go.
I'm an avid listener of music and love 70's & 80's pop. You'll mostly find me listening to Wham!, George Michael, Madonna and Michael Jackson, but I'm always ready to explore more genres of music.
I'm glad to be on the team and I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and some new ones too".

There will be a change in opening hours for tomorrow Tuesday the 20th. We'll be open for the first hour between 10:00 & 11:00 and then closed for a few hours until we reopen at 13:30.

Our good friend and regular customer, Jimmy, sadly passed away last month so we will be saying goodbye to him and paying our respects.

The shop hasn't been the same since and we miss his company and his outrageous banter.

Rest easy Jimmy.

Yes we are 3 years old today. Where has the time gone?

We've had some great times in 4 Park Street and met some wonderful people since we opened.
We'd like to thank every single person who has visited the store. It's truly humbling the support we've received.

We received delivery of our latest tote bags today.

This time the design has taken inspiration from a vintage paper bag that we have on display in store from our spiritual neighbours Falcon Music.

The pink and cream stripes are the perfect homage to the original Falcon Music bag and in no way resemble a popcorn bucket.
